Is TikTok Shaping How We See Midland’s Hidden Spots?

TikTok: Some people hate it, some people cannot go a single day without it.  For the people of Midland-Odessa, this is exceedingly true, as the region often has a reputation for having nothing to do.  So escaping into the digital realm of TikTok to pass some time isn't unheard of for the people of the 4-3-2.

TikToker James Jordan (No, not the Landman actor James Jordan) has gained a reputation for his social media content.  The content usually consists of giving a top 5 list of various topics.  For example, the top 5 richest people in [insert city].  You gotta admire the guy for his consistency and his dedication to his niche.  However, to be perfectly honest, some of the videos I've seen are spewing with stereotypical assumptions.

James had recently created a "Top 5 Sketchiest Places in Midland" video, and honestly, I have not lived here in the region long enough to understand if he is telling harsh truths or if he is revealing facts.  You be the judge.

Top 5 Sketchiest Parts of Midland (According to TikToker James Jordan)

Again, I have not lived in Midland-Odessa long enough to determine how accurate this list actually is.  Do you agree with it?  Or is this yet another stereotypical assessment from someone who does not live in Midland?  Truthfully, I do not know if Mr. Jordan lives in the 432.  However, judging from the rest of his content, he makes top 5 lists for other parts of the country, so that makes me assume he does not live here and makes these lists simply for the sake of content on TikTok.
