Monday's Powerball drawing has produced more big-money wins across the state of Texas. This has been confirmed by the Texas Lottery. The Powerball game had not produced a jackpot winner in over a month. Last night those who play the multi-state lottery game were hoping to match the numbers needed to claim the game's top prize of $173.5 million dollars.

The last time a Powerball jackpot had a big winner was on July 3rd of this year. A ticket sold in Ohio matched the numbers needed to claim that jackpot. Here's how Monday's Powerball drawing played out.

The numbers that we saw rolling out of the hopper and onto the screen were:

29   42   44   51   54   Powerball 12   Power Play x2

Use those numbers for reference but please verify your tickets by checking them against the numbers posted at the Official Powerball Website or the Official Texas Lottery Website. Those sites can not only confirm winnings but also explain the procedure for claiming a prize should you be fortunate enough to win one.

Based on what we've learned from our sources at Powerball there was no jackpot winner in Monday's drawing so that money will continue to grow for Wednesday night. The estimated annuitized jackpot on Wednesday will be $185 million with a lump sum payout of $92.1 million should you choose that option.

Texas Lottery did confirm two tickets sold for Monday's Powerball game were $50,000 winners. We do not have point of purchase details on those tickets but we do know that in each case the ticket's purchaser matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball. Neither ticket opted for the Power Play which would have doubled their winnings.

Tonight the Mega Millions Lottery game will hold its Tuesday drawing. That game currently offers an estimated top prize of $374 million. The Mega Millions game hasn't produced a jackpot win since June 4th of this year. In that drawing a ticket sold in Illinois claimed more than half a billion dollars (560 million to be precise).

Please note that most lottery purchases do not result in wins. So, plan to spend only what you can afford to lose. If you have a gambling problem help is available. Call 1-800-GAMBLER. The call and the referrals are free. Good Luck.
