We know this is going to be a tough one to avoid if you are the one driving. If you do decide to pick on opt for a zero sugar option to lessen the crash from spiking you blood sugar.

You may reach for one of these pre-made sammies thinking you are making a healthier choice. Unfortunately when it comes to the cold case in gas stations you never really know how much of a priority keeping those items fresh actually are. If deli meat, cheese, or mayo are not stored property you could be putting yourself at risk of getting sick.

Any food that is kept warm but not hot enough to kill harmful bacteria is an immediate no in our book. You can never be completely certain if the cheese sauce you are pouring on your chips has been handled or stored properly. No one wants an upset stomach on a road trip.
