One of the most beloved Christmas movies is turning 40 this year. It's not a traditional Christmas movie like "Miracle on 34th Street" or "It's a Wonderful Life", but it has its own unique Christmas story for a young man who only has one wish.

"A Christmas Story" features the story of a little boy who only wants one thing for Christmas, a Red Ryder BB gun.

While the movie didn't do much in the theaters in 1983 it has gained tremendous popularity in the last four decades, and a television network plays it 24 hours from Christmas Eve through Christmas night.

The house that was the setting for much of the movie is at 3159 W 11th Street in Cleveland, Ohio. The home was recently sold, but the person who bought the properties including the house and surrounding buildings has not been disclosed. Neither have they disclosed what was paid for the property.

What we do know is the bookings for tours and for actually staying at the home are still happening. You can actually stay on the property and sleep in the twin beds that Ralphie and Randie share in their bedroom in the movie.

Imagine if you are able to stay in the same room as Ralphie. Apparently, when you stay over in the house, you also get free reign in the home after they close each day until 9 a.m. the next morning.

There is even a live cam of the house. Just click here to see it. The good news from the "x" report is that nothing looks like it will change.

We'll keep you posted on further updates as they become available.
