Priscilla Presley’s Request to Be Buried Next to Elvis at Graceland Denied: REPORT
Priscilla Presley reportedly asked to be buried next to Elvis Presley as part of her Lisa Marie Presley trust negotiations with granddaughter Riley Keough.
On May 16, Priscilla and Riley reached a settlement regarding the dispute surrounding Lisa Marie's trust.
According to TMZ, during trust negotiations Priscilla requested to be buried next to Elvis upon her death. The tabloid reports her request was denied, and she backed down without argument.
For Priscilla to be buried next to Elvis, who was laid to rest at Graceland in 1977, an existing grave site would have needed to be moved.
Elvis was buried surrounded by his mother, Gladys, and father, Vernon.
The late Lisa Marie is also buried at Graceland, as is her son, Benjamin Keough.

Priscilla released a statement to People following her and Riley's settlement regarding Lisa Marie's trust.
"My family has resolved all confusion as it relates to our plea to the court and request for document interpretation after my daughter Lisa Marie's untimely passing. Although some media identified such a plea as a lawsuit, I want to make clear that there was never any lawsuit filed against my beloved granddaughter," Priscilla shared.
"As a family, we are pleased that we resolved this together. My family and I hope that everyone will grant us the privacy we have needed to properly grieve Lisa Marie and spend personal time together. We love and appreciate all of you and the Presley family is stronger than ever," she concluded.
While the details surrounding Priscilla and Riley's settlement have not been disclosed, a source told TMZ that Lisa Marie's estate paid millions to Priscilla as part of their agreement.
In January, Priscilla filed a petition challenging the validity of a 2016 amendment to the trust that removed her as a co-trustee and put Riley in charge.
