Big News for Borger: Dunkin’ Donuts Opening Soon

The growth in the Texas Panhandle has been enormous in the last 20 years.  The small towns usually only had their local grocery stores, boutiques, and several Allsup's to shop at in the past. Then slowly but surely, the small towns in the Texas Panhandle were starting to see Walmart open, saving residents from driving into Amarillo for basic needs.

One of those smaller towns is Borger, Texas. The Walmart Supercenter opened in Borger in November 2014, providing residents with more shopping options.  Walmart has also been known for having restaurants or other businesses inside its doors.  McDonald's once graced Walmart stores all over the country. Now you see Subway restaurants, and even Mr. Gattis opening up in Walmart.

However, Borger's Walmart Supercenter is about to get a caffeinated upgrade.

When Will Dunkin’ Donuts Open in Borger Walmart?

Dunkin' Donuts is opening up inside the Borger Walmart Supercenter.  According to the Licensing Department, work is expected to start in October on the in-store Dunkin' and finish in December.

America runs on Dunkin', now it's time for Borger to run on Dunkin'.

What to Expect From the New Dunkin’ Donuts

The Borger Walmart is currently undergoing some remodeling to make the shopping experience for Borger residents better.  Not only will this be a great addition when shopping in Walmart, but this Dunkin' addition will bring another coffee and donut option to the residents of Borger.  Who doesn't love grabbing a coffee before shopping?

We did reach out to Dunkin' and Walmart for more information about the new addition, but at the time of publishing, we had yet to receive a response.  If we do hear back, we will share the update here.
