A 78-year-old elderly San Antonio woman 78-year-old Margaret Schultz was making her way to H-E-B, intent on a simple purchase of dog food, when a group of juveniles launched an unprovoked attack. The terrifying incident, caught on a bystander's cellphone, shows the moment Schultz was surrounded, knocked to the ground, and robbed by the teens in San Antonio.

The assault occurred in the late afternoon near the intersection of West Cesar Chavez Boulevard and South San Dario Avenue. Schultz, shaken by the ordeal, recounted the suddenness of the attack, describing how the group "yanked me down" in a moment of sheer terror. Living with her sister and accustomed to walking as her primary mode of transportation, Schultz lamented her vulnerability without a car.

ENVELOPE WITH CHECK STOLEN

The attackers made off with an envelope containing a $900 check, leaving Schultz in physical and emotional pain. Yet, amidst this traumatic experience, the kindness of a stranger who witnessed the attack and promptly called 911 offered a glimmer of hope. As Schultz recovers, she bravely refuses to let fear deter her from her daily routines, though the event has undoubtedly left a scar.
