UFOs Likely to Land in Arizona
When looking up into the night sky, it's impossible to not question if we are alone in the universe. With so many stars in the sky and so many planets orbiting those stars it's expected for the mind to wander.
For many across the globe, stories of beings from other worlds are as close to reality as you can get. Thousands have believed to have seen flying saucers, little green men, or tractor beams lifting cows into the sky.
Arizona: A UFO Hotspot
The American Southwest has been a hotly visited location if UFO hunters are to be believed. From Roswell, New Mexico to Tulsa, Oklahoma, the American desert seems to be a place that draws in alien activity.
One of the most notable events in extraterrestrial sightings took place in Phoenix in 1997. The Phoenix lights were a series of lights in the sky that appeared on March 13th and proceeded to fly around the sky, or simply hover in a V-shape for minutes at a time.
While this is the most well known Arizona sighting, there are thousands more, making Arizona the 7th most likely place to see a UFO.
Sierra Vista Sightings
Aliens aren't just interested in big cities, sometimes they need to get away from it all, and where better than beautiful Sierra Vista, Arizona?? Sierra Vista is no stranger to UFO sightings, recording 32 sightings since 1972 and as recently as 2022.
Many of these sightings can be easily explained by military training procedures or other aircraft making their way across the sky (one recent sighting was found to just be the Aerostate Balloon), but some are less explainable.
The largest percentage of sightings described what they saw as a bright light in the sky, while many others saw spheres, discs, and cylinders. Visitors from another planet have still not publicly made contact, but every day brings new possibilities.
