El Paso Radio Station Launches Massive Holiday Food Drive
The holidays are creeping up fast and a lot of families are feeling the squeeze. Grocery prices these days are Sky-high. Many families' paychecks were put on hold during the government shutdown making the dinner table for many a little too empty for comfort.
That’s exactly why 93.1 KISS-FM’s Iris & Grizz in The Morning and the entire Townsquare Media fam are teaming up for “Cans for Christmas.”
From November 12th through December 19th you can drop off canned foods at our studios at 4180 North Mesa from 8:30 am - 5 pm.

Donate And Enter For A Chance At A Mija Gift Package
And because kindness deserves a little sparkle, we’re raffling off A special Mija “His & Hers” gift baskets (valued at about $200!). Donate at least 5 canned food items at our station offices during regular business hours, 9 am - 5 pm Monday through friday, and your name will be entered in the raffle box and you will have a chance at winning a special Mija gift basket which will feature Mija t-shirts for two, stickers, and more Mija gear!
Every 5 food donation gets you an entry in the raffle! So, donate 10 items, your name is entered twice! 15 items, your name is entered 3 times! You get the deal, right?

The basket will go out for donations that are made during the week of November 12th to November 21st which will help us supply food for Destiny Church of El Paso’s Thanksgiving food drive which will serve locals in the community who are in need of a meal this Thanksgiving.
We will be accepting donations until December 19th and those canned food items will be donated to the Borderland Rainbow Center to help support their food pantry which will offer food for families in need during the Holiday season.
PLUS, our favorite local artist, Ware Portraits, the artist behind the iconic Iris & Grizz illustration, is throwing in a free custom holiday portrait as part of the prize.
