How UTEP’s 24-Point Comeback Looked on Twitter
History was made last night at the Don Haskins Center. The UTEP men's basketball team looked like their season had hit rock bottom when they fell behind by as many as 24 points in the second half to UTSA. Instead of packing it in and losing their fourth conference game, the Miners rallied and eventually won it in overtime 80-77. For the fans that stuck around the final 15 minutes to witness the largest comeback in program history, they were treated to the kind of basketball that they were promised when the 2019-20 season began. The best part of last night's record rally against the Roadrunners was watching Twitter and the many reactions from Miner fans. From the start of halftime to the end of overtime, Twitter featured every possible emotion from both UTEP and UTSA diehards along with hoops fans around the country over the course of a few hours.
