Add Some Roar to Your Saturday, Hike with Dinosaurs at Dino-Mite Insights Event
Attention all fellow dino-nerds, Insights is hosting a Nerd Night this Saturday that I think you’ll find to be a dino-mite experience.
I don’t know if you know this, but dinosaurs used to call what is now Sunland Park, New Mexico home some 80 million to 100 million years ago.
And those giant lizards straight out of the Cretaceous period left behind acres and acres of fossilized dinosaur tracks around Mount Cristo Rey.
What's the DinoTracks App?
The Explore AR App is an augmented reality-based app that combines technology and real-life fossilized dinosaur tracks.
The digital-age mashup allows you to take a self-guided tour of the DinoTrack site using your smartphone or a tablet “to see augmented reality outlines of real dinosaur footprint fossils, animations of the dinosaurs that made the tracks, and a 360-degree panorama of the prehistoric ecosystems in which they lived by scanning QR codes along the tour.” The future is now, am I right?
Nerd Night: DinoTech Details
