High Winds Topple Semis, Uproot Trees around El Paso
A wintry blast of air brought snow flurries, uprooted trees, and slowed traffic all across the Borderland Monday afternoon. The wind was so strong, it toppled over three 18-wheelers, including one on the Spur 601 connection to U.S. Highway 54 that brought traffic in that area to a halt.
Check out some of the photos and videos posted on social media chronicling El Paso’s crazy weather day.
