Grizz Presents: The Valentines Day Movie List
Valentines Day is here, and whether you’re cuddled up with someone special, spending the night with friends, or just vibing solo with a big bowl of popcorn, a great romance movie is always a solid choice. I’ve put together a list of my personal favorites—some classic, some unconventional, but all filled with love, heart, and unforgettable moments. So, if you’re looking for the perfect movie to set the mood, here are my top ten picks!

10. Lost In Translation (2003)
A movie about connection, timing, and the bittersweet beauty of fleeting romance. Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson deliver quiet, heartfelt performances in this dreamy Tokyo-set masterpiece. It’s subtle, emotional, and lingers in your mind long after the credits roll.
9. Jackie Brown (1997)
Not your typical romance, but the chemistry between Pam Grier and Robert Forster is nothing short of electric. Quentin Tarantino’s most mature film tells a story of love, loyalty, and second chances with a slow-burn charm that’s impossible to resist.
8. The Princess Bride (1987)
This fairy tale adventure has everything—action, comedy, and one of the greatest love stories ever put to film. Westley and Buttercup’s journey is as timeless as the phrase, "As you wish."

7. 10 Things I Hate About You (1999)
A ‘90s rom-com classic with razor-sharp wit, an unforgettable performance from Heath Ledger, and that legendary "Can’t Take My Eyes Off You" serenade. A must-watch for anyone who loves a mix of romance and rebellion.
6. Sleepless In Seattle (1993)
Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan, need I say more? This love story about fate, distance, and believing in something bigger than yourself is a perfect feel-good Valentine’s watch.
5. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004)
A mind-bending yet deeply emotional look at love, memory, and heartbreak. Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet give stunning performances in a film that reminds us how painful, beautiful, and essential love can be.

4. When Harry Met Sally (1989)
The gold standard for romantic comedies. Witty, charming, and filled with some of the best dialogue in movie history, this one never gets old. Plus, that diner scene? Iconic.
3. Moonstruck (1987)
Cher and Nicolas Cage bring the passion, the drama, and the moonlit magic in this offbeat, utterly charming love story. If you haven’t seen it, do yourself a favor and watch it ASAP.
2. Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World (2010)
A love story with video game aesthetics, killer music, and hilarious fight scenes. It’s quirky, energetic, and perfect for anyone who loves their romance with a side of epic battles.

1. Everything Everywhere All At Once (2022)
At its core, this sci-fi action-comedy is about love—between partners, between family, and most importantly, the kind that withstands every possible universe. A stunning, heartfelt masterpiece that redefines what a love story can be.
Whether you want something heartfelt, hilarious, or deeply profound, these movies have you covered. Happy Valentine’s Day, and happy watching!
Honorable Mention: Valentines Day (2010)
I could not end this V-Day movie list without the Queen of Valentines Day Rom-Coms. Not only is this movie ridiculous and named after the holiday, it is HUGE! With a star-studded cast of A and B list actors, as well as people who have BLOWN up since this movie came out, Valentines Day is a must watch romantic comedy for your romantic holiday!
