City Council has chosen the downtown Greyhound maintenance facility as the future home of the El Paso children's museum.

Representative Cortney Niland told CBS4 it's proximity to the El Paso Museum of Art and the El Paso Museum of History, and the site being on the trolley route were the reasons why that location was chosen.

The plan is for the city to pay Greyhound $1.27 million, and lease a part of the Sun Metro building on San Francisco Avenue for Greyhound to relocate the maintenance facility to.
