A prominent car insurance company owner's son has been arrested after a fight in a local nightlife hotspot led to one man being taken to the hospital. According to the El Paso Times, Alfred Joshua Loya was arrested in the early morning hours Saturday after a fight on Cincinnati Street led to one man being stabbed. Around 2 A.M. Saturday morning, a fight broke out on the 200 block of Cincinnati Avenue. According to a Facebook post by someone who says they were a witness, Loya was "the aggressor," and broke a champagne bottle. That bottle sliced a man's cheek open and he had to be taken to the hospital.

According to witness accounts, Loya allegedly ran from the scene but was apprehended by the El Paso Police Department.  Alfredo Joshua Loya was arrested on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and resisting arrest. He was released Saturday on a $32,000 bond. There is no update on the condition of the man who was stabbed in the face.
