Whatamoron!

El Paso police have arrested the man who used a machete to rob an east El Paso Whataburger last week, and it turns out the guy used to work there.

Joshua Angel Nunez, 31, was charged with aggravated robbery after he allegedly used the large heavy knife to coerce employees of the Whataburger at 12140 Montwood Drive to surrender an undisclosed amount of cash. During the investigation it was discovered that Nunez is a former employee of that Whataburger.

Initial reports indicate the person was wearing a mask when the crime was committed. It is unclear what led police to Nunez, or why he chose to hold up his former place of employment and not any of the other twenty-some-odd Whataburgers in the city.
