Foo, where do I even start. If your socks are not pulled up to regulation height by the time you finish reading this, I cannot help you.

Foos Gone Wild, the internet's number one source for cholo comedy, paisa pride, and the most accurate depictions of every tio you have ever had, is bringing its first ever headlining tour to El Paso. The Foos Gone Wild Tour lands at Lowbrow Palace on Friday, October 2, and yes, there will almost certainly be a sock check at some point in the evening. Govern yourselves accordingly.

What Is Foos Gone Wild and Why Is Your Whole Feed Full of It

If you have spent any time on Instagram or TikTok in the last few years, you already know. Foos Gone Wild started as a social media page collecting the funniest, most chaotic, most lovingly unhinged moments of Mexican American life. Cholos doing cholo things. Paisas being paisas. Grandmas with chanclas. Carne asadas that escalate. It is the page that made us all feel seen, sometimes a little too seen.

The brand's most famous contribution to culture is, of course, the sock check. Strangers get stopped on the street, the pant leg gets lifted, and the truth is revealed. Socks up means you are a down foo. Socks down means you are a lame, and the internet will know. It is a simple system. It is a beautiful system. It has probably done more for the sock industry than any marketing campaign in history.

But here is the thing. Foos Gone Wild is not just memes anymore. Led by the masked and mysterious Lil MR. E, the brand has grown into a full entertainment company generating billions of views a year, with reach into music, fashion, television, film, and animation. Their debut album cracked Apple's Top 10 charts, and Lil MR. E became the first Mexican American hip-hop artist to perform at Paris Fashion Week, walking alongside designer Willy Chavarria. Yes, you read that right. The sock check made it to Paris. Somewhere out there, a French fashion editor knows what a down ass foo is now. We did that.

The Welcome to Fooville Tour Comes to Lowbrow Palace October 2

The El Paso show is part of a 12-city run promoted by Live Nation, announced on the heels of the group's sophomore album, Welcome to Fooville, which dropped June 4. The album packs 16 tracks, including the singles "Beamed Up," "Socks Up Lames Down," and "Keep Ya Socks Up," because if you thought they were going to let the sock thing go, you do not know Foos Gone Wild.

The tour hits California, Arizona, Texas, Colorado, and Illinois, and here is the part that should make your chest puff up a little: El Paso is the only West Texas stop. Not Midland or Lubbock but the dang 915! The foos looked at the map, saw the 915, and said that is where the real ones are. They play Lowbrow on October 2 and then head straight to Denver, which means we are the last taste of the borderland they get before the altitude humbles them.

And honestly, could there be a more perfect venue than Lowbrow Palace? An intimate downtown spot where you will be close enough to the stage that Lil MR. E could personally inspect your socks. This is not a metaphor. Prepare your calves.

How to Get Tickets to Foos Gone Wild in El Paso

Here is the rundown, foos:

A Citi cardmember presale kicks things off Wednesday, June 10, at 10 a.m. Additional presales follow throughout the week, and the general public on-sale starts Friday, June 12, at 10 a.m. through Live Nation.

Lowbrow shows for acts with this kind of following do not linger. This is a brand with billions of views and a fanbase that treats merch drops like Black Friday. If you are planning to go, set an alarm, charge your phone, and maybe say a quick prayer to whatever saint handles Ticketmaster queues.

El Paso, This One Was Made for Us

Look, Foos Gone Wild could have skipped the border entirely. Plenty of tours do, and we have the scar tissue to prove it. But a brand built entirely on celebrating Mexican American culture choosing El Paso as its only West Texas stop is not an accident. This city invented half the material. Every Foos Gone Wild video has a cousin, a tio, or a whole quinceañera that could have been filmed in the Lower Valley. We are not just the audience for this comedy. We are the source material.

So on October 2, downtown El Paso is going to be a sea of pressed Dickies, white tees, and the highest sock lines this city has ever recorded. Pull them up, foos. The whole borderland is getting checked.
