Insights Museum Demolition Started Today

The demolition of the 30 year old Insights Museum building began today.  We have a bird's eye view of the scene.

Insights is being torn down to make way for the El Paso Ballpark Project.  The land was an empty lot before Insights was built, the museum served El Paso well for 30 years, and now it will be part of the ballpark!

Instead of blowing the building up, it will be torn down by construction equipent, and some building materials will be recycled.

Getting around the area will be a challenge, so if you plan on going to that part of downtown, give yourself plenty of time.
