Monika interviews local R&B singer, Roman Rouge.

El Paso artist Roman Rouge was one of the local artists that performed out at Neon Desert Music Festival this year.

Roman Rouge has been making music since he can remember, taking all his hardships of his young life and being able to adapt and incorporated all of his experiences into his music. Roman although young has a definitive vision for his future and plans to continue recording music and breaking through to become an international artist. He told me about his most recent EP Voicemails, featuring the single Fast Car. We also talked about his musical influences such as The Weeknd and Khalid. We also talked about the time he worked at Bowie Bakery and how he was ultimately fired. Rouge also expressed how amazing it was to perform at Neon Desert Music Festival and how excited he is about his debut album dropping later this summer.

You can expect Roman Rouge’s debut album Nobody to be released June 12, 2019.
