Picnic at the park with a free concert performance celebrating El Paso Symphony Orchestra’s 90th anniversary this weekend.

The El Paso Symphony Orchestra (EPSO) is thrilled to announce the continuation of its 90th Anniversary Tour with a free 45-minute outdoor performance featuring a quintet of the El Paso Symphony Orchestra brass tomorrow Saturday, May 22, 2021.

EPSO opened its 90th Anniversary Fall Tour of El Paso on Saturday, September 12, at the Casitas Neighborhood Association with an all Mozart program.

However, due to due to the pandemic forced the postponement of the tour and canceled events altogether. Nevertheless, despite the setback, The El Paso Opera ingeniously began taking its music to the people of the Sun City.

Since last summer, our friends at the El Paso Symphony Opera performed all over the city, bringing some much-needed reprieve and entertainment for the community with its free Curbside Concert performances.

Not only is the opera company performing live via curbside, but they also brought our community together over the love of music during a time when we needed to remain apart for the safety of all.

What To Take:

  • Lawn chairs
  • Picnic blankets and pillows
  • Pack snacks and beverages

The performance is free and open to the public, and families are encouraged to join in on the celebration Saturday evening at Album Park. For more information, contact EPSO at 915-532-3776 or email info@epso.org.
