El Paso’s Khalid Performs ‘Talk’ on ‘Tonight Show’ + ‘Good Morning America’

What a week it's been for one of our city's more prominent celebrities, Khalid.

New album, movie debut in a short film that acted as a companion piece to the album, a just-announced summer arena tour, and back-to-back national appearances on two of the most watched programs on television; The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and Good Morning America.

Both were return appearances for El Paso's Music Ambassador©.

The Tonight Show

His first national TV appearance ever was in front of the Tonight Show cameras 2 years ago. Khalid delivered a soulful, slow burning rendition of his breakout song Location back then.

Fallon had him back on last April (2018), this time with former Fifth Harmony member Normani. They did their team-up, Love Lies.

Thursday night (4/4) he performed Talk, his lead single off Free Spirit, to a very appreciative audience. (They gave him a standing ovation)

Good Morning America

Khalid's first nationwide morning television performance was on GMA two years ago on April of 2017.

The then 19-year-old sang his debut hit single Location live from Times Square. He returned to their New York City studios on Friday (4/5) to promote his first full-length album in two years.
