El Pasoans Excited After First Signs Of Snow & Hail At Ski Apache
Ski Apache took to social media yesterday announcing that it was snowing, and now El Pasoans can hardly wait to hit the slopes.
Excited El Pasoans are eager to visit after seeing that Ski Apache received snow flurries and hail yesterday morning.
It may only be mid-September, and the fall is still technically a couple of weeks away - but Ski Apache in Alto, NM, is already seeing the first signs of winter, and it's prompting major anticipation from El Pasoans.
After Ski Apache posted that it was snowing, El Pasoans chimed in saying:
Less than three hours away from El Paso, Ski Apache offers a great weekend escape to nature filled with plenty of outdoor fun, including skiing, tubing, snowboarding, a zip line, mountain biking, hiking, and so much more.
One of the most popular activities includes Ski Apache's Scenic Gondola Ride, which offers panoramic views of the Sierra Blanca Peak.
Apart from all these outdoor activities, visitors will find many local vendors, art galleries, and restaurants to taste, shop, and explore.
So when will Ski Apache open for the fall?
Tentatively set for November 27, Ski Apache will kick off its 2021-2022 season with its signature Party On The Mountain. The free, family-friendly event will feature food, entertainment, raffles, specials, and much more.
