Get ready for several late night summer adventures at the El Paso Zoo.

The popular Zoo after Howlers, which allows guests the opportunity to enjoy zoo activities into the evening, returns in mid-June, according to a post on the El Paso Zoo Facebook.

On three Saturdays this summer -- June 17, July 8, and August 19 -- instead of closing at 5 p.m. as it normally does, the zoo will stay open until 8:30 p.m.

Some of what happens after hours includes live entertainment, animal presentations, and a special evening giraffe feeding. All attractions, like the Hunt Family Desert Spring splash pad and Foster Tree House Playground, stay open into the evening.

If you've ever wondered what the animals do after hours, or if you just want to enjoy the zoo during a cooler part of the day, save the date: June 17, July 8, and August 19, 2017.
