City of El Paso Just Dropped a New Rideshare Hub Just In Time for Coldplay
If you're heading to the Coldplay concert this weekend at the Sun Bowl you are probably already trying to plan how you will be getting there, whether you’ll take your car and pay for parking or if you and your friends are going to split an Uber!
If taking an Uber or Lyft is in your plans then we have great news for you! The City of El Paso is trying to help alleviate congestion and frustration by offering a brand new Rideshare drop-off spot.

The city just unveiled a brand-new Rideshare Hub In El Paso, Texas
The new rideshare hub is located on the 200 block of West Baltimore Drive. It’s well-lit, has security cameras, and is basically the VIP section for getting picked up or dropped off near UTEP and the Cincinnati Entertainment District.
City of El Paso officials are urging concert-goers and nightlife lovers to start using the hub. According to officials, the goal for this new hub is less traffic chaos, safer streets, and a more organized ride situation for everyone.

The city is also extending El Paso Streetcar hours so people have other options when it comes to getting to and from the concert. The streetcar will run until midnight on June 13 and 14, with pick-ups starting at 7 AM Friday and noon Saturday. Just head to the Glory Road stop near the stadium.
This new initiative is part of the city's ongoing effort to make transportation in Kern Place more efficient, and way less chaotic. And all it took was a Coldplay concert for this to be done by the city so…. Thanks Coldplay!
