Quinceañeras at 45 Is the Cute New Trend El Paso Can Hop On

Imagine running to get to quince practice and the quince is for your mom?

To some girls, and boys too, their quinceañera is a big deal.

Not every girl wants one, however, and that's cool. Other girls want one, but at the time, a quinceañera is not possible. Which is why a new, adorable, trend that sees women in their 30s, 40s and even 50s throwing themselves the quinceañera of their dreams is trending.

A couple of years ago, a woman went viral after pictures of her quinceañera at the age of 45 (you know, because it's three times 15?) and it was adorable! And now, we're seeing more women jump on the trend.

Most recently, a Phoenix based makeup artist shared a quinceañera he recently worked on, and the quinceañera was a 45 year old woman. According to Karlo, of @karloybeto, the woman's grown children threw her the quince of her dreams.

This is Maria Romero and as you can see, she went all out- she had THREE dress changes! She even had a full horse and Cinderella carriage for her grand entrance!

It's not a full quince without a vals! Here she is with her chambelan, who is her husband, and her children and their spouses as part of her royal court dancing their vals.

And it wouldn't be a quince without the giving away of the final doll.

There were of course many who saw this and thought it was a complete waste of money, but I think this is the cutest thing. It's 2022, people can spend their money any way they can and if that is to throw themselves a quince at age 45, then so be it!
