Kiplinger Magazine just released it's list of best U.S. cities for "cheapskates" and guess what? El Paso is #2 !! The magazine looks at cities with a low cost of living and incomes relative to those costs. The magazine wrote, "Living on the border has it's benefits with outstanding Mexican food, cool fusion music, and an extra-low cost of living. El Paso, like many Texas towns, enjoys cheaper utilities, transportation, and overall living costs than it's northern peers." At #1 is St.Louis, Missouri. Rounding out the Top 5 are Spokane, Washington at #5, Kalamazoo, Michigan at #4, and Springfield, Illinois at #3. I just thought of something. Now that you saw this on our website, you don't have to buy the magazine..!!
