There are directors that go traveling to find the perfect spot to film a television series or film. There are all sorts of spots in El Paso that make for a perfect background in a movie or show. Plus, who would not want a background shot of the star lit up on the mountain above Scenic Drive.

Hell, we should feel lucky that Khalid even made a song about that popular cruising route. Usually around the holidays is when family and friends come into town and visit the rest areas on Scenic Drive to take pictures to remember before they leave El Paso.

I had seen a favorite actor of mine Greg Grunberg who I loved watching on a show called Felicity that was shown on the WB years ago. Well, that actor happens to be traveling around Texas location scouting for a new series that will be called The CareGiver.

Greg Grunberg had someone take his picture while location scouting in Houston on this massive wooden chair. Which from the looks of it he was definitely enjoying that chair and city.

But there are so many places in El Paso that would make a great location to film a series or movie in my opinion. We have the best areas to set all sorts of moods for the kind of scene you need.

We also can't forget all the fancy-schmancy places downtown that provides quite a view from high rooftops. Hopefully one day we can have that lucky opportunity to be chosen for a future scouted location.
