Talk about DRAMATIC!!! Fall may have officially arrived in El Paso, but Mother Nature brought plenty of drama along with it.

After heavy rain moved into the Borderland Tuesday, El Paso woke up to cloudy skies Wednesday and the aftermath of a very wet and messy night. Roads across the city flooded, power outages were reported throughout the area, and several locations were left dealing with significant damage.

Even our radio station wasn't spared. Around 7 a.m. Wednesday, the station lost power and we were temporarily off the air as crews dealt with the outage. It made for a pretty eventful start to the day, but it was all just the beginning of a dramatic rainy Wednesday!

ANTHONY, NEW MEXICO: As of 10:50 a.m., San Antonio Street in Anthony remained closed after the roadway collapsed during Tuesday night's thunderstorms. The road was expected to remain closed indefinitely.

SCENIC DRIVE: According to El Paso Police, Scenic Drive is closed in both directions after a large hole damaged and collapsed part of the roadway. Officials are asking drivers to avoid the area, and the closure will remain in effect until further notice.

NORTHVIEW APARTMENTS: Residents at Northview Apartments in Northeast El Paso are also dealing with the aftermath. Floodwater entered some first-floor apartments along South Angora Loop. Property management says crews are working to pump out water and address the damage.

And, of course, Album Park once again became "Album Lake" as flooding covered portions of the park.
