El Paso's nightlife is slowly coming back to life after shutting down for a couple of years due to the pandemic. However, one of the industries that found a lifeline at the later end of the pandemic were farmers' markets, thanks to their outdoor accessibility.

The El Paso Downtown Art & Farmers Market is one of the many farmers' markets in town that bounced back better than ever, lining up vendor after vendor selling their homemade goods and crafts.

And now, the downtown farmers market, which is usually set up Saturdays at the Union Depot, will open its first evening market of the year on Thursday, March 31, beginning at 5 p.m.

The family and pet-friendly evening market pop-up will take place at the Arts Festival Plaza, between the El Paso Museum of Art and the Plaza Theatre.

Head out and support local businesses because shifting just a tiny percentage of your shopping from big-box stores to local vendors and shops can significantly impact the business owner and our community.
