For many parents in El Paso, back-to-school shopping can be stressful because some families may not have the funds to buy all the school supplies needed for their kids. Well, El Paso is full of amazing organizations that understand that struggle and they are hoping to help with FREE backpacks for local students!

Cinta De Oro Promotions and the Boys & Girls Clubs of El Paso have joined forces with Operation H.O.P.E. to carry on the legacy of beloved community leader Angel Gomez during the 30th Annual Back-to-School Community Event.
This year's event isn’t just about school supplies. It’s also about heart, hope, and honoring a man whose mission was to serve El Paso families with love and purpose. Since 1995, Operation H.O.P.E. has supported families with essentials like food, clothing, and emotional support during tough times. Now, that impact continues with a gift of 500 backpacks filled with school supplies.

"As a proud son of El Paso, I’m honored to continue serving the community that shaped me," said Cinta De Oro. “With Operation H.O.P.E. and the Boys & Girls Clubs, we’re building on Angel’s incredible legacy with heart, purpose, and action.”
Families can also enjoy superhero fun with the Operation H.O.P.E. Superhero League, live appearances by luchadores from the Cinta De Oro School of Lucha Libre, and much more!
