El Paso Area Teachers Can Attend UTEP Game For Free

Teachers get a nice thank you from UTEP this weekend. A few will even get $100 dollars!

The University of Texas at El Paso will show area teachers a little love this Saturday. According to the El Paso Times:

UTEP athletics announced that teachers, administrators and support staff from Region XIX public and private schools, as well as El Paso Community College, can register for the free tickets at www.teacherappreciationfootballgame.utep.edu. (deal has now ended)

Once registered, teachers can pick up their tickets Saturday morning at select TFCU credit union branches or, they can be  picked up at the Sun Bowl stadium ticket office. A few, "extra special" teachers will be honored with a ceremony down on the field and given $100.

The Miners will take on North Texas in the last game of what has not exactly been a great season. The game starts at 2:00pm.
