Residents as far as Anthony, TX felt the shock waves of an early morning explosion that occurred at a local concrete plant on Sunday in West El Paso.

Did you feel that?

According to the El Paso Fire Department on Sunday morning around 7:57 a.m., a container exploded at the Jobe Materials concrete plant located at 3125 W. Paisano Drive.

Thankfully, there were no reported injuries at the Jobe Materials concrete plant although KVIA did report that some communication wires were damaged at the facility.

The news station also received numerous reports from residents wondering what they had felt and heard with inquiries coming in as far as Anthony, NM while others felt or heard nothing at all.

Residents from Sunland Park and even Resler commented on hearing a loud boom, while others felt their homes shake thinking they were experiencing an earthquake or tremblor. Yet, ironically others that lived closer to the concrete plant felt or heard nothing at all.

At this time an investigation is being conducted by the El Paso Fire Department to determine what exactly happened that led to the explosion at the Jobe Materials concrete plant.
