What Did El Paso's Dr. Rascon Share On Tosh's Show?

Normally I pride myself on knowing when El Paso is getting brought up in the pop culture world but somehow this Chuco moment involving Daniel Tosh, El Paso's Chief Medical Examiner, and a well known local El Paso gift shop snuck right by me!!

Okay so I’m sitting there, hot as hell on a Wednesday evening hoping my AC doesn't give out as I watch TikToks and literally melt into the couch. As I doom scroll, I catch a familiar video clip from one of my favorite EP podcasts, Death In A Hoodie! If you have never checked the podcast out, its full of El Paso nostalgia, ridiculous Chuco Chisme, and 3 siblings who work at Concordia Graveyard. Its about as El Paso as you can get, honestly.

The clip pops up and this is how I found out that El Paso's newest Chief Medical Examiner was not just on the Daniel Tosh Show podcast, he literally gave Daniel Tosh a stack of graphic tee shirts from the iconic Chuco Relic!! The episode has been out for about 3 weeks now as of writing this article and its genuinely a lot of fun. One of the things I love about El Pasoans is that a lot of us have wonderful personalities and Dr. Rascon is genuinely charming and hilarious as he cuts it up with Daniel Tosh.

Some people might remember Daniel Tosh from his highly popular TV show on Comedy Central, Tosh.0, where he shared bizarre, hilarious, and sometimes borderline dangerous clips from the web paired with a fair amount of dark humor commentary. Now Tosh has a successful podcast with so many interesting guests which apparently includes El Paso's Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Rascon.

Dr. Rascon dives in with plenty of topics involving the work he does as a coroner, whether or not he believes in ghosts, and what it looks like to do the dirty job of Chief Medical Examiner!

Shout out to Dr. Rascon for representing the 915 and for even bringing along gifts from our own Chuco Town! Hopefully Daniel Tosh wears his Chuco Relic t-shirts with Sun City pride!! By the way, Tosh said the one he's holding up in this pic below was his favorite of the shirts.
