About 100 state, national and international employers will be offering students job opportunities tomorrow and Friday at the University of Texas at El Paso Career Expo 2012.

The expo anticipates about 2,500 job-hungry students. Underclassmen in search of summer internships and students in search of full-time employment after they graduate with their bachelor's, master's or doctoral degrees.

The August 2012 numbers from the U.S. Department Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics showed 8.1 percent unemployment, and 9.6 percent for El Paso.

The expo will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, on the concourse of the Haskins Center.
