Danny Green Skills Camp Returns to El Paso This Weekend

Danny Green is returning to El Paso for the third consecutive year and he will be be conducting a two-day basketball skills camp this Saturday and Sunday at Coronado High School. The cost is $199 and that includes both days from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All campers will receive a t-shirt, photo of Green, and an autograph.

Green recently opted into his $10 million player option to remain with the Spurs for the 2018-19 season before becoming an unrestricted free agent. The former New York native and North Carolina star has become a fixture in the San Antonio lineup and he averaged 8.6 points per game last season, including 116 3-point baskets.

The Danny Green Skills Clinic website explains that boys and girls ages 8-15 will be placed in small groups to give instruction. Campers will be put through a plethora of drills focused on improving their basketball skills level. Their drills are focused on improving campers ball-handling, shooting, passing, and defense.
