Cool Canyon Nights has its 2023 lineup set and this year some classic rockers are coming.

Cool Canyon Nights kicks off the 2023 season on May 11th.

One of the Borderlands best known mariachi acts, Mariachi Los Arrieros, will be on the main stage that night. The rest of the season will welcome the usual mix of musical genres.

This year though, Cool Canyon Nights will feature a couple of classic rock acts loved by rockers of all ages. The two classic rock acts will feature the music of Pat Benatar and Elton John.

Fire and Ice, a tribute to Pat Benatar, features El Paso musicians fronted by Angel Roa. Angel is a familiar face on the local rock scene and has rocked the Borderland in several bands.

Catch them at Cool Canyon Nights on July 6th.

Rocketman Experience brings the music of the "Madman Across The Water" literally across the water to El Chuco on May 25th. By across the water, I mean the Atlantic.

Referred to by "Brits" as the pond, Tom Cridland really is coming over it, direct from England, and will leave you believing you've seen the real Elton John.

July 27th, we bring the season to a close with another tribute band, (and El Paso's favorite party band), Fungi Mungle. A little rock, a little funk, a lot of disco and a ton of 'fro. You name it, they got it.

Their shows fill up, and the VIP area sells out, EVERY time so, don't sleep on this one. Get there early and get more info at KLAQ.com.

The concerts are, as always, FREE. Purchase VIP tickets here.
