A Chico the Chihuahua Corn Maze Is Coming to El Paso Area This Fall

Although La Union Corn Maze is still weeks away from opening, we already know what the 2017 design is going to be.

The farm has announced that this year their 13 acre corn field will be cut into the likeness of Chico the Chihuahua.

Along with the canine mascot, the baseball themed maze will also feature the team's "Grrr" slogan as well as a batter and pitcher.

This is not the first time La Union has looked to our community for inspiration.

In 2014 the 100th Anniversary of the University of Texas at El Paso was celebrated with a design that included the UTEP logo and a Bhutanese building, while the 2005 diagram paid homage to the Miner's 1966 NCAA championship winning basketball team.

The farm is currently being prepped for the fall and expects you'll be able to get hopelessly lost among the corn stalks beginning September 23 through November 5, 2017.
