Chef Aaron Sanchez Shares Stories About His Life in El Paso
Celebrity chef, Aaron Sanchez, is ready to talk about his upbringing in El Paso! Sanchez just announced that he is writing a book about his journey to celebrity chef status. He will start with his childhood in El Paso. Did you know that Arron worked at his mother's catering business in central El Paso? Aaron's family left El Paso for New York City in 1984. His mom opened a restaurant called Cafe Marimba in mid-town Manhattan. The restaurant closed in 2011.
Aaron said he is "so excited to share that I have a new book coming out this fall. No, it's not a cookbook, it's the story of my adventures from El Paso to New Orleans and all the places, people and craziness in between." Aaron's mom sent him to New Orleans to study under Chef Paul Prudhomme.
I can't wait to read the book. The book will be titled "Where I Come From. Life Lesson from a Latino Chief. It scheduled to be released on October 1, 2019.
