Canutillo High School Graduation Is Tonight And Traffic Is Going To Be A Headache – Find Out Why

Canutillo High School seniors will get their diplomas tonight, but getting there will be a problem. I-10 will be closed down in that area for road construction.

Graduation ceremonies for Canutillo H.S. begin at 8 p.m. in the Coach Julius & Irene Lowenberg Eagles Stadium on the Canutillo High School campus.

TxDOT will be doing some scheduled road construction starting at 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. I-10 West will be closed from the 2nd Mesa exit, not the downtown Mesa exit, all the way to the New Mexico State line during those hours. Traffic will be re-routed to Desert Blvd., so keep an eye out for detour signs, and if you're planning on going to the Canutillo High School graduation ceremony, leave with plenty of time.

The Ysleta Independent School District is also holding several graduation ceremonies today. Here is a list of them:

June 10

Bel Air High School: 9 a.m.
Del Valle High School: 1:30 p.m.
J.M. Hanks High School: 6 p.m.
