Bystanders Save Mother and Child From Attempted Carjacking in Broad Daylight

A few quick-thinking San Diego residents came to the rescue of a mother and her child during an alleged carjacking and attempted kidnapping. After hearing a disturbance, a handful of men in the area rushed to the woman's car, dragging the suspect out, and holding him until police arrived on the scene.

The woman and the child are fine. The suspect, who is identified as 21-year-old Ismael Hernandez, has been booked into the San Diego County Jail.
