The History of National Taco Day:

According to National Day Calendar, National Taco Day was officially moved to the first Tuesday in October all thanks to good ole Taco Bell! 

“Starting on October 1, 2024, this delicious food holiday will now fall on a Tuesday—Taco Tuesday to be exact. This epic announcement is part of a latest milestone in Taco Bell’s ongoing Taco Tuesday journey to move National Taco Day to a Tuesday starting this year!”
