Texas Takes 2 Spots On ‘Best Burgers In America’ List

On Infatuations list of the 12 best burgers in America, Texas steals two whole slots!! The only other state to get two burgers on the list is California, every other state in the ranking is solo. Which makes sense, Texas and California are huge so if any state was gonna have two, it was them. If we're being honest though, 50 states exist, only 12 make the list, and we got two of those places? I think that means Texas is really killing it in the burger world right now.

AUSTIN

The first burger that makes the list is from LeRoy and Lewis Barbecue in Austin. This isn't just any burger, this is a BRISKET burger! What you see there is a delicious creation made by the incredible folks at LeRoy and Lewis Barbecue. Here is what Infatuation has to say about this masterpiece:

"The patty is made of ground brisket, rolled in black pepper, and then slowly smoked until the outside is dark and crispy while the inside remains warm and tender. It’s served on a springy potato roll, with chopped grilled onions that sweeten each bite."

HOUSTON

The last of the two Texas spots on the list goes to Burger Bodega in Houston, a place that pays tribute to the classic bodega shops in New York City but still represents Houston all the way!

The Smash Burger leads the way at Burger Bodega and here is what Infatuation says about this one:

"The edges of each patty are wafer thin and crispy with a hint of griddle smoke, and the mayo-like bodega sauce melds together with cheese and grilled onions. And the dense but soft potato bun supports the double stack without getting soggy."
