Paseo Del Norte Beekeepers Association Wants You To Help Save The Bees
El Paso is filled with things I both never expect and am fully delighted by. Did you know that the Sun City is home to one of the largest beekeeping associations in the Borderland? Not only that, but they love beginners and you could join the next beekeeping class.

The Paseo Del Norte Beekeepers Association has been a hub for hobbyists and commercial beekeepers alike! They're also very beginner friendly, holding classes on beekeeping for people who are interested in seeing what's up with the bees!
I know most people don't think much about the Bees, but for a long time now, scientists and people much smarter than me have talked about how insanely important these tiny lil guys really are.
Bees are detrimental to all life on Earth and between June 2024 and March 2025 alone, the United States lost around 60% of our domestic Bee colonies. That's 1.6 million colonies lost in less than a year.

That's why it's so important and radical that El Paso has its own association of Beekeepers! The PDN Beekeepers Association has been running since 2014 and serves the city and New Mexico. Meaning El Paso gets to be a hub in potentially keeping the Bees alive and thriving.
YOU specifically could be the next beekeeper that helps save the entire Bee population! Bees could look up at you with reverance, their little legs filled with pollen, rebuilding the world's ecosystems one colony of fuzzy dudes at a time.
And ya know what, if you're scared of Bees. Even better. This is your chance to get up close and personal and conquer a fear while saving the world.
