Get ready, El Paso, one of comedy’s sharpest minds is headed our way. Emmy-winning comedian, writer, actress, and all-around powerhouse Ali Wong is coming to the Abraham Chavez Theatre on Saturday, April 25, 2026, and honestly, the city might not be ready for the level of chaos and honesty she brings to a stage.

Most people first met Wong through her now-iconic Netflix stand-up specials Baby Cobra and Hard Knock Wife, where she made pregnancy look both terrifying and hysterical while delivering jokes that could shatter glass. But Ali Wong is far more than just a stand-up star. She’s quietly built one of the most impressive résumés in Hollywood.

From Stand-Up to Stardom

If you haven’t seen Beef yet, the Netflix and A24 dark comedy that earned her an Emmy Award, add it to your queue immediately. Wong stars alongside Steven Yeun in one of the strangest, funniest, and most emotionally devastating shows in recent memory. It’s the perfect blend of existential crisis and road rage therapy, which, let’s be honest, feels incredibly relatable if you’ve ever tried to merge on I-10.

But her success doesn’t stop there. Wong has also starred in and co-wrote the hit Netflix rom-com Always Be My Maybe, where she shared the screen (and one legendary Keanu Reeves dinner scene) with Randall Park. She’s voiced characters in Tuca & Bertie and Big Mouth, written a bestselling memoir Dear Girls, and somehow still finds time to make people cry laughing on stage.

Tickets and Tour Details

Ali Wong’s El Paso stop is part of her new comedy tour, and fans can expect plenty of new material, probably some uncomfortable truths about relationships, and at least one story that makes you question your own family dynamics.

Presale starts Thursday at 10 a.m., and general ticket sales open Friday at 10 a.m. You’ll definitely want to grab seats early, because Wong’s shows sell out faster than a limited Whataburger menu item.

Get ready, El Paso, Ali Wong’s coming, and she’s bringing the Beef.
