Grocery stores such as Albertsons are hiring as more employees are needed to help meet the high demand amidst the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) many businesses are closing increasing unemployment but some grocery stores such as Albertsons are hoping to hire those who have been laid off.

As the public is urged to continue practicing social distancing, grocery stores have been busy with a surge of buyers as people stock up and prepare to stay indoors. Grocery stores don’t anticipate shoppers will slow down anytime soon and are now looking to hire more people to help with the demand during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

Albertsons recently posted on Twitter:

"We need your help. We're hiring for immediate openings! Apply at your local store or online now!"

In-store positions could include the deli counter, meat, bakery, produce, fuel stations and customer service departments, "drive up & go" and cashier or courtesy clerk.
