Adopt A Pet For The Holidays For Only $30 Today Only

The City of El Paso is encouraging last-minute holiday shoppers to give the gift of a new home to any of the cuddly animals available for adoption at the City’s Animal Services Shelter.

Today Saturday, December 21, all of the shelter’s “Virtually Irresistible Pets” (V.I.P.s) will be up for adoption at a cost of only $30.

The “V.I.P.” program was created to spotlight some of the shelter’s most lovable pets.

Saturday’s special “Home for the Holidays” adoptions include:

• Free spaying/neutering
• Free age-appropriate vaccinations
• Free microchip
• Free City registration

All other dogs and cats, 12 weeks and older, will be available for only $60 through the Humane Society of El Paso.

The Animal Services Shelter is operated by the City’s Environmental Services Department (ESD).

The shelter is located at 5001 Fred Wilson (across from Fort Bliss National Cemetery).

Saturday’s adoption hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
