El Pasoans now have more choices when dining out as Crazy Crab gets ready to open its newest location this weekend.

While El Paso may not be known for its seafood fare, we do get by thanks to local eateries such as The Crab Station, King Crab, Hook & Reel, and a few others. But now, our options have expanded as Crazy Crab expands to two locations in El Paso.

The first Crazy Crab location opened at The Fountains at Farah over the summer in August, serving up some seriously delicious and finger-licking seafood along with a fun, casual, and friendly atmosphere.

Speaking of the food – Crazy Crab offers everything from oysters to fried baskets and traditional Cajun boils.

But it's the localized menu that stands out for folks who might be new to the whole Cajun Boil concept. El Pasoans can nibble on everyday familiar items like chips and queso, shrimp cocktails before taking on Signature Combos that pay homage to El Paso, including:

  • El Chuco - 1/2 lb each of shrimp and snow crab
  • Chamizal - 1 lb each of shrimp and snow crab
  • Scenic Drive - 2 lbs. each shrimp and black mussels
  • Bliss Combo - 1lb each of shrimp, crawfish, and snow crab
  • Chicouahua – 1lb each of shrimp, snow crab, clams, mussels, and sausage

Patrons also have the option to build their own Cajun boils or select from its other delish menu options such as egg or veggie fried rice and even decadent desserts.

Ready to try it for yourself? Well, you won't have to wait much longer because Crazy Crab plans to open this weekend, welcoming El Paso families to its new location at the Towne East Shopping Center located at 1188 N Yarbrough Dr.

It's great to see the Michigan-based franchise opening in the Sun City, embracing our city's uniqueness and bringing much-needed variety to the borderland with its new seafood dining experience.
