2 Stabbed at Family Dollar Store Parking Lot in Anthony

Two young men were victims of a stabbing Thursday night in the Dollar Store  parking lot in Anthony.

According to police, the stabbing took place at about 9:15 p.m. in the parking lot of the Family Dollar at 517 S. Main.

The victims were a teenage boy and a young man in his 20s. One of the victims had been stabbed in the back and both were taken to University Medical Center of El Paso. It is believed the wounds were not life threatening.

A search is on for the suspects who left the scene in an older model Honda Civic. Police are also looking into the possibility that the stabbing was gang related.
