Next Wednesday, September 28th, the city's Animal Services Division will be helping pet owners take care of their pets, follow the law, and save money!

World Rabies Day is next Wednesday, and the first 250 pets through the doors at the Animal Services Shelter at 5001 Fred Wilson between the hours of 7am to 10am, will be able to get things like rabies vaccination and registration for 19 dollars, parvo/distemper vaccinations for 10 dollars, and microchips implanted for 15 dollars.  Those are especially important, because they can help you find your pet if it's lost.  If you don't do it, you might end up looking like this...

If you have a pet, the vaccinations and microchipping is required by law, so mark your calendar so you can not only save your pets health, but save yourself a lot of money!  More details are available here.
