El Paso loves the Chihuahuas and the Plaza Classic Film Festival, and later this summer, they're teaming up to show a classic baseball film. It's a "pre-game” warmup to the world’s largest classic film festival that happens in downtown El Paso.

The Plaza Classic Film Festival has lit up the big screen at the Plaza Theater for seven years, and this year they're going to light up the Southwest University Park's high-definition scoreboard with a showing of Field of Dreams. This year marks the 25th anniversary of 'Field of Dreams', the iconic film that gave us the catchphrase, 'Build it and they will come'.

General admission seating is $5 at the door. Tickets will be sold at the Santa Fe and Durango street entrances of the ballpark the night of the show, or you can go to plazaclassic.com and get advance tickets for $6.
